Often the recipes require only the use of egg yolks and invariably do not know how to reuse the poor whites that rimanangono. Well, this recipe is a good idea to dispose of, the result is a soft and tasty cake!

Ingredients: 250g flour
140g sugar 170g butter, softened
5 egg whites 1 teaspoon baking powder
2 oranges (zest)

Procedure:
Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt.
In a bowl place the soft butter and add sugar, working it all to the cream with a wooden spoon. Mixture to mix the flour with the baking powder alternating with egg whites.
Once you have a smooth mixture add orange zest and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a mold 22cm has been buttered and floured and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Once cooked, let cool and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
